Josh Baldridge – Bourgeois Acoustic Guitars – D – Vintage
I appreciate how Bourgeois’ Asymmetrical Bracing Pattern works on this guitar. The lows are easily felt through the body by the player, but it doesn’t get overly boomy out in front of the instrument.

Matt Pelsma – Jackson Audio – Belle Starr
This pedal sounds like how I want all overdrives to sound: very bright and responsive top-end, just like a small tube amp!

Brian Soden – Mythos Pedals – Au79 Golden Fleece Fuzz – Mass Street Music Edition
NOTE: Currently available for pre-order!!
Introducing – The Mass Street Music edition Mythos Pedals Au79 Golden Fleece! Voiced to match the original big-box Golden Fleece with ram’s head graphics, the Au79 version has a tighter low end and slightly less gain. These two features make the Au79 ideal of stacking with other drive pedals or going straight into a gained up amp. We really enjoyed collaborating with Zach of Mythos Pedals on this unit and think you’ll dig it!!

Mike Horan – Collings Guitars – Parlor Deluxe 2HA MR Traditional T Series – Madagascar Rosewood
I had a chance to sit down with this guitar for a few minutes. Fantastic note separation on this one, with the Madagascar Rosewood adding a surprising clarity to the bass end. The appointments are absolutely classic, the marquetry purfling being a favorite of mine.

Matt Harmon – Subdecay – Super Spring Theory Reverb
Such a cool reverb pedal that includes two great options in classic verb tone with the option for trails or not. It’s definitely on the list for my reverb collection.

Trey Durkin – Leo Posch Banjos – Dobson Style Banjo
This is a great banjo! It has a soft immediate attack with a bright poppy sustain that only a dobson tone ring produces, it is great for all folk or old-time styles. There were many 4 string banjos made between the 20s-30s, with great rims, but unfortunately many of these banjos have been collecting dust ever since 4-string banjo music lost popularity. I love the idea of taking a neglected old 4 string banjo, creating a new 5-string neck, and bringing new life to the instrument. Leo Posch did a great job with the conversion on this one. This one is definitely ready to tell some tales, come see what it has to say!

Susan Willits – Collings Mandolins – MT GT Sheraton Brown
Sheraton Brown is one of my favorite finishes and we have a beautiful Collings MT-GT in Sheraton Brown here in the shop right now. Check out the back on this mando! Collings mandolins have such a defined, clear, ringing tone. They are truly a delight to play, and play, and play…

Matt Kappenman – Collings Guitars – OM1 Traditional T Series 1 11/16
This OM is one of my favorites, and probably the most versatile of body shapes. Responding extremely well to a light touch, but with enough power to drive through some chords, I couldn’t stop playing this guitar during my lunch break. Complete with the traditional build package and a comfortable 1 11/16″ nut width and corresponding neck profile. The attention to detail and care that comes with this neck reminds me why Collings is such a shop favorite, after about 30 seconds of playing I totally forgot about the neck being different from my guitar and just enjoyed playing it. A lifetime guitar.
Some great Collings Traditionals in the shop right now!
