The Squire classic vibe series never ceases to impress me. It’s a great budget guitar that sets up great, sounds fantastic for half the price of something comparable in performance.
For me, the best part of this guitar is that it’s a lefty!!! There aren’t many options out there for southpaws so this is truly a great model to check out whether you are a beginner, purchasing for a beginner, or an intermediate to advanced player, you can’t go wrong with this guitar.

I must confess that I own every Mythos Pedal currently in production, so I might be a little biased. That being said, Zach has the best ears. That’s why I have them all. He knows how to create the right tools to dial in killer tones. I just plugged the Mythos Spartan Series Olympus Overdrive into a new Dr. Z Z-Wreck Jr we got in and good Lord. If you’re into K-style overdrives, you’ll really dig what the Olympus does. It hit the Z in just the right places to drive it into pure classic rock territory when using it as a boost. Turning the gain up on the Olympus yielded more natural sounding drive without changing the character of the amp. Genius. Love it. One of my favorite drives in the shop!

This was a fun and inspiring fuzz for me. I plugged in and played riffs that I normally don’t play. The controls are very responsive, lots of great tones in this box.

This guitar really caught my eye when it arrived. With 3 pickups and a 5-way switch, plus the belly cutaway, it is a comfortable modern twist on one of the most classic guitars of all time. I also dig the look, I’ve always been a sucker for Candy Apple Red guitars, and the Pao Ferro fingerboard has a really cool grain. Come check it out!
