Matt Pelsma – Fender Custom Shop – Postmodern Strat Journeyman Relic RW – 3 Tone Burst
This is one of the best strats I have ever played. It is just as fluid and fun to play as any Anderson or Don Grosh. And the finish is super comfortable. A next level strat.

Jade Rowland – Fender Electric Guitars – 2017 American Professional Jazzmaster – Mystic Seafoam
This is a guitar that plays as awesome as it looks. The revoiced v-mod pickups have a unique clarity to them that sounds balanced playing clean or dirty tones. The mystic sea foam finish is absolutely stunning in person.

Matt Harmon – Xotic Effect Pedals – SL Drive
As my quest continues to make the perfect practice/travel rig I came across this drive pedal. Its perfect for the smaller grab and go travel board but has the sound and tone of the full blown Marshall drive that we all know and love. This drive also makes my list because its simple, once you set your volume to your desired amp you have Drive (Gain) and Tone. It even has dip switches in the pedal to change what Marshall style amp your going after. I left it on default because you can’t go wrong with a Jimmy Page Heartbreaker sound.

Trey DurkinVega Banjos – 1924 Whyte Laydie Plectrum 5-String Conversion Used
Awesome banjo! Normally Whyte Laydie tone rings are a bit bright to my ears, but the large 11 15/16″ rim fitted with a skin head really helps mellow this one out, giving it a very complex, rich, full sound from low to high with plenty of touch sensitivity and head room if you want to dig in. It is very distracting having such a cool banjo in the store right now! I’m tempted to pick it up every time I walk by!

Matt KappenmanGretsch Acoustic Guitars – G9511 Style 1 Single-O Parlor
This Gretsch parlor was far and away the guitar that surprised me most at the NAMM show. This is the perfect low cost couch or travel guitar.
