Josh Baldridge – Fender – 2017 American Professional Precision Bass – Candy Apple Red
This American Professional P-bass brings a classic color to the American Pro lineup. I’m a sucker for bursts and red guitars and this one fills the latter slot nicely. Also, the professional series are now the only stock Fender models to come with Rosewood fingerboards so don’t miss out with rosewood becoming more scarce.

Eric Putnam – Collings Electric Guitars – CL Deluxe Cherry Sunburst
Leading up to the August 21st eclipse there were many warnings about not looking directly at the sun, and I will issue the same warning about this guitar. I looked at it too long and woke up blind…with the desire to play classic rock riffs, and do rock n’ roll high kicks. Another great guitar from Collings. Nice beefy neck, and the Wolftone legends sound excellent in it.

Matt Pelsma – Waterloo by Collings – WL-14 X Truss Rod – Boot Burst
Every Waterloo that has come through the store has had its own little amount of magic… that is to say, they all are supremely built, but each one is a little different. The WL-14 Boot Burst is prime example of the best Waterloos that Collings is making, plus in a super cool Western Texas finish.

Brian Soden – Fender – Brad Paisley Road Worn Telecaster – Silver Sparkle
This guitar possesses everything I look for in a killer Tele. Lightweight, resonant, large comfy neck and spanky pickups. Not to mention the crazy-cool relic’d sparkle finish! If the paisley pickguard isn’t your thing, just throw a black guard on it and let ‘er rip!

Mike Horan – Collings Acoustic Guitars – OM1V Western Shaded – Custom
This guitar is a delight to fingerpick. Notes jump out of the guitar and are very evenly balanced. It has a sweet sunburst to boot!

Trey Durkin – Ome Banjos – 2009 Sundance Megatone Bluegrass Used
Whoo! This banjo rocks. Look out! it is loud and powerful, without being harsh or thin. The feel, clarity and intonation up the neck is fantastic, and makes me want to play all the fun high-up licks and chords. I would describe the sound as rich, warm, and full, but nowhere close to muddy. This Ome Sundance is a gorgeous straight-ahead bluegrass banjo that could handle just about anything thrown at it. My open-back would be jealous if it knew how I felt about this banjo…

Susan Willits – Flatiron Mandolins – 1992 A5 Artist Used
This is a great Flatiron A5 Artist mandolin! Super clean, with virtually no fret wear, this mandolin has a nice, clear tone from the high notes through the low notes. No tinny high end on this mandolin, and some nice chunk when you chop on it! Sweet!
