The Collings 470 JL is a unique combination of the raw and the refined, with the sonic capacity to be both delicate and introspective, while at the same time bringing a gritty and unleashed sonic quality. The details are sparse and tastefully done, this is one of those guitars that feels like a work of functional art. Ever since playing the prototype almost two years ago this guitar has had us excited, and getting our first one in the door has proved to be worth the wait.
