This Saturday, Oct. 11 begins with a special Bluegrass Guitar Clinic with Greg Blake of Jeff Scroggins and Colorado. Greg has been voted SPBGMA best guitarist five years in a row. Moreover, he’s a great teacher. The clinic starts at 10 a.m. and is $20. The rest of the day we’ll be having our Collings Guitars Shindig with Collings Master Luthier Bruce Van Wart, here for a meet and greet. He’ll share insights on tonewoods, behind the scenes stories of Collings and more. Live performances follow from Luke Paul and Rick Faris! On Saturday, Oct. 18 we’ll have a free Tango Guitar Clinic with Sean Mawhirter of Cucharada. 

In other news, we just received our first Waterloo by Collings acoustic guitar – old school style and tone with a sweet price. Check out the Waterloo WL-14 L here. We’re also excited to announce we’ve added Pedal Projects from Iceland to our effects pedals lineup – these are incredible pedals that Eric P. chose for the store. We’re also in the process of adding a boatload of very special used acoustic guitars to our website, which you’ll be able to see first on our Just In page, or better yet, stop by the store.
