Jack Bryan – Fairbanks Guitars – F-20 Ebony – 14-Fret 00 – Aged Black with Firestripe
This is easily my favorite guitar in the shop. It’s small and lightweight, but it still has a lot of volume and a richness to the tone. Every note is perfectly balanced and articulate, especially when played fingerstyle, which makes this guitar just absolutely sing. It also has this indescribable sweetness to the sound that you just have to hear and experience for yourself (words cannot do it justice). Truly a phenomenal work of art.

Marnie Orville – Squier – J Mascis Jazzmaster
Though I may be biased being a Dinosaur Jr. fan, this has to be my favorite Jazzmaster there is, and at a great price mind you. It’s got a super comfortable satin neck, the adjusto-matic bridge makes for great tuning stability, and the slightly overwound pickups can do anything from country to shoegaze. Despite being a signature, this is really a guitar you can make your own.

Mike Horan – Collings Guitars – 2005 OM1 A Cutaway – Sunburst – Used
The greatest thing about a Collings cutaway is that you can never hear that it has a cutaway. They always have the same amount of volume and projection as a non-cutaway. Just another example of Collings sorcery.

Matt Harmon – Gibson Electric Guitars – 2014 ES-345 1964 Reissue w/Maestro – Used
What a killer guitar, lots of tonal options and a great trem.

Isaiah Sibi – Collings Electric Guitars – City Limits – Oxblood – Aged Finish

We custom ordered this guitar, inspired by Jeff Beck’s own Oxblood Les Paul. From the tastefully light ageing to the comfortable C-shape neck profile, we could not be happier with how the instrument turned out! The ThroBak pickups are made with vintage spec’d parts, giving this guitar the punchy, responsive, sound that’ll have you ready to absolutely rock the house down.

Susan Willits – Pisgah Banjos – 11″ Wonder Short Scale
The 11″ Pisgah Wonder has a nice, lively tone up and down the neck. It’s a very pretty banjo with the aged brass hardware and the quilted star inlay, and the vintage heel gives it nice, clean lines. Pisgah is making great quality banjos in Asheville, NC, using local hardwoods, in their solar powered shop! How cool is that?!!
