Kyle Ralston – Taylor Acoustic Guitars – 814ce V-Class
Well balanced acoustic-electric combining a solid Sitka Spruce top and solid Indian Rosewood back and sides with an ebony fretboard. Perfect balance of low end presence and high end tones either acoustically or plugging it in, accommodating Taylor’s patented ES2 electronics.
Great forever guitar whether you are performer of stage or living room.

Jim Baggett – Martin Acoustic Guitars – 1939 D-28
A bit of a hidden gem. Behind the obvious repair to the top, this is a very fine sounding and playing herringbone.

Really liked this one, you can dial in low gain boosts to OD and stacks incredibly well.

Trey Durkin – Fender Guitars – American Ultra Luxe Telecaster Floyd Rose HH – Mystic Black
I recently got back to the shop from a trip of a few weeks (Chile, it was incredible!), and when I first saw this hanging on the wall I had to do a double-take and said “What is that?!?” After pulling it down and playing it, it is an incredibly cool and comfy HH tele, complete with a Floyd Rose! I have always liked double locking systems, tweaking an old Ibanez RG I had as a teenager is one of the reasons I got into working on guitars in the first place. The contours on this guitar are so comfy! I think all fender style guitars are more comfy with contours for the forearm, belly, and heel. The contoured heel allows effortless leads up the neck, and let’s be real: this is a shred machine (effortless playability and lots of tones available)! I also wanted to do a 2-for-1 staff-pick and include our new hoodies, I got one of the gray ones and it is my new favorite hoodie.

Susan Willits – Martin Acoustic Guitars – 1947 D-18 – Used
It’s always fun to get old instruments into the store and we’re happy to have this 1947 Martin D18. This 75 year old guitar is a wonderful example of an instrument that’s been played a lot, and has received some wear and tear, but is still going strong! It has had a neck reset and refret, and all the cracks have been repaired, so it’s ready to go. You can own a playable piece of Martin history!

Matt Kappenman – Gretsch Electric Guitars – G5622T Electromatic Center Block DC – Speyside
This G5622T has all the bright, responsive, jingle-jangle in the bridge that I love from a good Gretsch. Flip over to the neck pickup and it’s a warmer sound, great for playing chords along to your favorite country songs. This Speyside finish is a great option as well, delivering vintage-vibes on this new guitar.
