If you’re looking for a killer fuzz that can provide both classic and modern fuzz tones, this pedal is for you. While not part of the original lineup of classic Ross pedals, it still borrows its design from the old distortion circuit found on Kustom amps, which were made by Ross (think CCR “Fortunate Son” tone). This is a truly unique sounding, distortion-like fuzz and shouldn’t be passed on.

Suhr meshes the classic and modern wonderfully with the Classic S. Their custom V60LP pickups kick out any of that 60 cycle hum you would normally hear in other standard single coil pickups and they are as bubbly and refreshing as the gorgeous surf green finish. The satin neck, 25 1/2 inch scale length, and silky tremolo really makes this guitar play like a dream and the 22 stainless steel frets will allow for much longer fret life in the long run.

Susan Willits – Pisgah Banjos – 11″ Appalachian Cherry with Vintage Heel – Cherry Armrest
The Pisgah Banjo Company is a company to be truly admired. Their shop is powered 100% with solar energy and they use locally sourced native hardwoods. Plus, they make a great banjo!  The 11″ Appalachian Cherry is a prime example. Built with a beautiful cherry rim and neck, a persimmon fingerboard and aged brass hardware, this banjo plays wonderfully with clear, sparkly, warm tones.  It’s delightful to play, but I’d better get back to work!
