Jim Baggett – JC Baxendale Guitars – D-18 – Shade Top
We are thrilled to be representing John Baxendale’s guitars here at the shop. This D-18 is the first of what will be many vintage-inspired guitars from a fabulous luthier. Head over to read the “Our Thoughts” section for a bit of backstory on why we sought out this talented builder.

Eric Mardis – Tom Anderson Electric Guitars – Angel – Satin Cajun Red Reverse Surf with Binding
Some people are into classic American cars and some people like Lamborginis. This Angel is a Lambo. One of my favorite builds to come from Tom Anderson Guitarworks ever. High performance excellence!

Marnie Orville – Bruce Guitars – Letter Series T
This Bruce guitar is a fantastic showcase of Micah’s craftsmanship and taste. It has a beautiful Birdseye maple neck, a light pine body with an aged nitro finish and stocked with Lollar pickups. I also love the floral decal on this one giving it the unique flare of a well loved vintage player.

Gabe Kniffen – Fender Electric Guitars – Vintera ’60s Stratocaster Modified – Olympic White
Fender’s Vintera series offers players a whole lot of vintage Fender styling at a more affordable price than an American made Fender, without sacrificing on build quality. This Strat plays and sounds awesome, and the classic off-white finish and rosewood fingerboard give it an unbeatable look.

Clark Russell – Iris Guitars – AB Quilted Big Leaf Maple – Tobacco Burst – Firestripe – Flower Pot
Hailing from Burlington, Vermont, Iris has formed an incredible team of luthier vets, headed by Adam Buchwald and Dale Fairbanks, two absolute titans of the acoustic guitar world. This AB model, based off the J-185 (a small jumbo), is no exception to their amazing track record. With quilted maple back and sides, the bass feels controlled, but still powerful on this model, and has a wonderful richness to the mids that speak volumes with the enormous headroom this guitar offers. The high end is amped by the maple and ends up blending the entire frequency spectrum into a cacophany of beautiful sound that you’ll understand from your first strum. An extremely lightweight body coupled with a beautifully finished satin neck make for a guitar that plays just as good as it sounds. This is the last of our Iris batch that recently arrived as they tend to go fast, so come and play it before it’s gone!

Mike Horan – Collings Guitars – OM1 A HC – Hill Country – Sunburst – Satin
Beautifully dry. Incredibly direct. Tonally focused. Light as a feather. This guitar cuts through the mix like an acoustic laser.

Matt Harmon – Collings Electric Guitars – 71 M – Olympic White – Aged
What an awesome new offset from my favorite guitar manufacturer. This guitar has both vintage and modern vibes in feel and tone. I love how you can still see the grain under the olympic white finish and the hand poured plastics are a unique and eye catching complement. I’d pick this one up before Micheal Hamm does.

Susan Willits – Leo Posch Acoustic Guitars – J-M – Sunburst
This Leo Posch J-M, with an Adirondack top and mahogany back and sides, absolutely sings with full, lush chords, clear single notes, and sustain for days! It’s a beauty with a gorgeous sunburst top and a firestripe pickguard, and the short scale of this 14 fret slope shoulder makes it super comfy for playing complex chords.

Matt Kappenman – Gretsch Guitars – G6134T-58 Vintage Select ’58 Penguin with Bigsby – Vintage White
I’m so thrilled about having the Vintage Select line of Gretsch guitars here in the shop. There’s something about that early Rock ‘n Roll Filter’Tron sound that really makes me excited to turn up a tweed amp (like maybe the Pittman Paseo for example) and really let things rip. Rockabilly, Chet Atkins picking, Country Twang or even some lush chords are all on tap with this ’58 Penguin. It goes without saying that the look is iconic.
