The Amp 100 from the crew at Milkman Sound is a new addition to “The Amp” lineup and includes an integrated boost along with a dual control reverb option with a decay knob. The max wattage at 8ohm has been pushed to 100 watts, 200watts at 4ohm, … Continue reading NAMM 2020 Milkman Sound – The Amp 100

2019 was a great year for new pedal brands in the shop, and @jampedals was a big part of that. It was great to stop by their NAMM booth and catch up the Jam crew that traveled all the way over from Greece. The shop’s been buzzing for the past few weeks about their latest update to the popular Delay Llama, the aptly named Delay Llama Extreme. … Continue reading NAMM 2020 – Delay Llama Extreme
We caught a sneak peak at the new Synesthesia from @gfisystem last year, but it was great to give it another test drive in anticipation of having it in stock at the store. This dual-channel modulation pedal is capable of running two different modulation algorithms at once which delivers all sorts of tonal options. Check out our collection of GFI Pedals at Mass Street Music. Continue reading NAMM 2020 – GFI System – Synesthesia
An absolutely stunning Amazon Rosewood back and sides on this dreadnought from our friends over at @collingsguitars. Love how tight and straight the grain is, which feels harder and harder to find on a bigger guitar. Some exciting new stuff coming down the pike in 2020 from Collings! Continue reading NAMM 2020 – Collings D42 AR A – Amazon Rosewood
Update: We have all three finish options for the 470 JL on order including the Antiqued Black, Antiqued Blonde and Antiqued Sunburst. Our first Antique Blonde 470 model has arrived! To say we’re excited about this new 470 JL from @collingsguitars and Julian Lage would be an understatement. The SB55/v from our friends at @eastmanguitars is powered by a @lollarpickups “50’s Spec” P90 in the bridge and comes in both single, and double-cut models. The Faber compensated bridge and a no-load tone pot that bypasses itself from the signal chain when set to 10 were a few of the cool features on this classic design. Two new pedals from the man, the myth, the legend, Zach over at @mythospedals. First up is the SusMaryOsep which is a collaboration with @rj_ronquillo which combines at Herculean V2 with a boost and slap echo in one box! Both the boost and the echo are controlled via sliders and individual footswitches. The Lark, another artist collab, this time with @rhettshull, is a very cool overdrive which works … Continue reading NAMM 2020 – Mythos Pedals – SusMaryOsep! & Lark
We started Friday morning over at the Martin Guitar booth and were a bit blown away with their new SC-13E model. We might have had a private demo where someone from Martin took the neck joint apart for us…but you’ll have to wait for when they start shipping for photos of that. It’s basically a new dovetail-esque neck that’s removable via a couple of bolts … Continue reading NAMM 2020 – New Martin Guitars SC-13E
Cool new vintage-inspired strings from our friends at @stringjoy strings! This new Broadway string features a pure nickel wrap wire around a smaller round steel core which is extremely slinky and feels great for bends at all sorts of classic tension profiles. Based on a ton of research into strings from the 60s, but much improved. We’ll have these in the shop soon, and we have all … Continue reading NAMM 2020 – Stringjoy Broadways – Nickel Strings
