Josh Baldridge – Gretsch Electric Guitars – G5420TG 135th Anniversary Electromatic Limited – Dark Cherry Metallic/Casino Gold
Gretsch did two color schemes on this one, and I got to see both of them at the name NAMM show. I was, and still am, absolutely blown away by this dark cherry metallic top.

Jim Baggett – Blazer and Henkes Guitars – 2008 Deja Vu – Phoenix 28 Sunburst – Used
Great example of the sort of craftsmanship that we’ve long enjoyed from Willie Henkes and Rudolph Blazer. It’s always a treat to get a Brazilian Rosewood guitar of this quality in the shop. A great lifetime guitar.

Eric Putnam – Tom Anderson Electric Guitars – Icon Classic – Metallic Ice Blue
Another great Anderson Icon! Really great finish on this one, the mystic Ice Blue looks great with the carmel maple neck. I am really digging the 62 pete neck shape on this one, too. Great neck that is not too chunky but is also not overly thin. This one also has my favorite set of the noiseless pickups!

Matt Pelsma – Martin Acoustic Guitars – 00-15M
This “All-Hog” guitar is fantastic for comfortable couch playing, or a small relaxed coffee shop setting. It’s brighter than most mahogany guitars that I have played, but it just wants to be broken in. I could play this guitar all day.

Brian Soden – Mission Engineering – Rewah Pro
We’re all big fans of Mission’s expression and volume pedals and their new power supply, but the Rewah Pro deserves some of the spotlight! The internal dip switches make it highly versatile and easy to dial in vintage and modern tones. Plus, it’s built tough for the road. And…it’s finished in candy purple. I dig it!

Matt Harmon – Don Grosh Electric Guitars – ElectraJet Standard with Blown 59s – Black
Grosh makes great guitars and this one is begging to be played really loud. The Blown 59’s are amazing.

Trey Durkin – Fender Basses – American Professional Precision Bass – Sunburst
I’ve always been a fan of the p-bass. A fully adjustable pickup, with simple volume and tone controls that allow you to dial in the perfect sound in the blink if an eye. I’ve always been drawn to 3 tone sunburst finished fenders with a rosewood fingerboard. If you want that classic bass sound, look, and feel, look no further!

Susan Willits – Bart Reiter Banjos – Buckbee Open-Back – Cherry
Bart Reiter is doing such a great job of crafting well made, dependable and affordable banjos. The 11″ Buckbee is a lot of banjo for $1195, with a wonderfully clear and mellow sound. Very easy to play, with no frills, this banjo is a perfect (and fun) upgrade from your starter banjo!

Matt Kappenman – Eastman Electric Guitars – T64/V-GB
There’s just something about a fully hollow thinline that I love. There’s this acoustic reponsiveness, almost a sort of growl that really makes me feel at home on this Eastman. Loaded with Lollar P90s and a Bigbsy, this is one versatile archtop. It has me thinking about ordering one for myself.
Tons of great Electric Guitars in the shop right now!
