A pair of 00-40H Conversions

It’s not every day you get a chance to compare TWO prewar Martin 00-40H conversions. The one on the right of the photo is a customer’s guitar from 1934, on the left is one Jim has in progress from 1931. These 12-Fret, small body, Brazilian rosewood models were originally introduced for Hawaiian slide players, and have since been converted for what we now think of as standard playing. Amazing guitars and both pieces of Martin history.
