Marnie Orville – JHS Effect Pedals – Colour Box V2 – 10 Year Anniversary Colorway
The Colour Box is an incredibly versatile and useful preamp. The Lundahl transformers give it the warmth and compression of a Neve mixer that sounds like nothing else, and you can dial in anything from overdrive to fuzz with the shift knobs. All with a very tasteful colorway based on the original prototype, this pedal is so much fun.

Clark Russell – Summit Mandolins – 2002 F-100-S
Been picking up the mandolin as a new instrument for myself and I’ve seen a few of these Summits come in and this one blew me away. Warm, woody tone with that “bell-like” quality when played close to the fingerboard, but plenty of volume and a signature chop when dug in. Personally, I own an early ’90s Gibson-made Flatiron and with Paul Schneider previously working there I can see the DNA, but with modern developments and plenty of newer knowledge imparted on this instrument. Come try it out!

The sound really jumps out of this guitar, whether flatpicking or fingerpicking. And like a great old guitar, it’s light as a feather!

I find myself drawn to this amp everytime I go into the amp room downstairs. It’s incredibly satisfying to sit in front and not feel out of sorts when dialing in a tone. It feels familiar enough to be comfortable yet have a few extras that allow you to reach a new level compared to an older black panel amp from the 60’s. The reverb and trem are amazing!

The tone of this guitar is so satisfying, it’s like butter melting on toast, or a really good cheese pull. Beautiful range of tone with the chimney strong high-end, and profound low-end. You can play this guitar hard without overdriving it, and let it ring softly while still maintaining all of its glory. Fantastically crafted with Madagascar Rosewood, Koa Binding, and Boucher’s AAAA Master Grade Adirondack spruce top.

Susan Willits – Leo Posch Acoustic Guitars – 2017 DS Hormigo -109 – Used
This used 2017 Leo Posch DS Hormigo is a looker that packs a punch. Hormigo is a beautiful hardwood that’s like a cross between mahogany and brazilian rosewood. With round, balanced, well defined notes, this guitar has the sound of a piano! Like all of Leo’s guitars, it has plenty of volume, but this one comes with a K&K Pure Mini pickup, so it’s ready for the stage as well as a good jam.

Matt Kappenman – Fairbanks Guitars – F-35 – Adirondack – Sunburst Finish
It’s difficult when ordering up guitars for the store not to fall in love with them once they arrive. This Fairbanks build is one of my all time favorites, Adirondack top, gorgeous burst finish and the sort of growl and punch that I look for in a slope-shoulder guitar. Guitars of this calibre don’t come around often and this is one you won’t want to miss!
