The crew here at Mass Street Music recently celebrated our store’s 40th Anniversary with a day of demos, workshops, Q&A sessions and more. A huge thank you to our customers, to our vendors, to the Mass Street alums, to everyone who left a kind word on social media or anyone who swung by the event. Thank you. I was unable to attend the 40th anniversary event but just wanted to leave a comment in salute of Mass Street Music. I have been kicking around the guitar playing world for over 50 years now, ever since that first little $28 Stella, Christmas 1969. Over the years I have darkened the door of many a music store, and I can honestly say that I have never found a finer one than Mass Street. Not only dose the store consistently carry a great selection of instruments, but it is obvious that every staff member is passionate about music. This is exemplified in the way they take care of customers and let them know they are valued. Over the past 11 years, I have exclusively utilized the services of the Mass Street repair shop for numerous repair and adjustment jobs. They are second to none in their level of skill and expertise. Deservedly, Mass Street Music is nothing short of a legend in Lawrence, KS. As one very appreciative customer, who really feels more like family, I just want to say thanks.
